We are delighted to welcome you to the Metavision forum & 4th Colloquium on the Physics and Applications of Metasurfaces which will take place at the University of Brescia from April 20th to 24th, 2026.

The first day (April 20th) and half of the second day (April 21st) will start with an informal young researchers’ forum – with three dedicated physics lectures and one workshop about “Navigating work-life balance in Academia” – designed to spark collaboration, ignite innovation and support early careers: METAVISION.

The rest of the week (April 21st – 24th) is dedicated to the 4th Colloquium on the Physics and Applications of Metasurfaces, focusing on recent advancements and future perspectives in the realm of ultrafast science, nanophotonics, and metasurfaces. Keynote speakers include Andrea Alù, Michael Berry, Federico Capasso, Nader Engheta. You can find the list of invited speakers here.
